In the 90s I played in several Hawaiian bands for about eight years. This was one of the tunes we did. I stumbled upon the sheet music the other day and learned to play the melody. I've always loved these simple yet romantic Hawaiian melodies.
The uke is my trusty old ±1930 Martin Style 3K, affectionately known as The Beater because it's well worn.
